Jyree Aterio Mosley Dyer
Jyree Aterio Mosley Dyer returned peacefully to his heavenly home on March 18, 2019. Jyree was born on March 9, 1999 in Charlotte, NC to Nakura Wiggins and Atevio Demond Mosley, Sr. Jyree and his brother Atevio, Jr. were adopted on August 2, 2005 by David Alexander Dyer and Dena Sallyn Dyer. The brothers joined the Dyers’ previously adopted daughter Takeida Dyer to complete their family.
Jyree graduated from Jay M. Robinson High School on June 9, 2017 with aspirations to attend barber college, and eventually own a barber shop. He was a confident and happy young man and it radiated through his infectious smile. He always lived life on his own terms and inspired and encouraged others to do the same.
Jyree was a born again Christian, who knew and loved the Lord. He grew up attending New Life Independence Baptist Church, Concord, and later Greater Providence Baptist Church with his family. Jyree never missed an opportunity to show his affection for his family and friends by attending events and occasions, including celebrating holidays, birthdays, and life accomplishments with his loved ones. He made sure his presence was felt and his essence will live on in the lives that he touched.
Jyree leaves behind his parents: David A. Dyer and Dena S. Dyer; birth parents, Nakura Wiggins and Atevio Demond Mosley, Sr. (Monica); siblings: Takeida Lashay Miles Dyer , Atevio Junior Mosley Dyer, Tavior Jasir, Anthony Marcelle, Debra Lakiyah, Quinyasma Tatiana; nieces and nephews: Elijah, Enya, Emari, Elontae, and Skyler; his loving companion, Victoria Lynn Cole and son, Amir Josiah Cole; a special friend, Rachael; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his beloved roommates.
